Once you’ve booked your session, we will work together to plan the perfect photo shoot. I’ll work with you to select the most beautiful locations and perfect outfits to compliment your style and personality and create a mood board to set the direction for the photo session.

Let’s chat! During our consultation, we’ll discuss what kind of photo session you’re after and what you’d like to achieve. We’ll discuss your vision, brainstorm ideas, and choose the perfect location for your shoot. My goal is to make sure we’re on the same page and that you feel comfortable and excited about the shoot ahead.

During the mood board phase, we’ll dive much deeper into discussing ideas and direction for the shoot, including locations, clothing, and any other important details. I will also create a mood board that reflects your unique style and sets the tone for the shoot. If it’s a video shoot, we’ll discuss how to make it extra special and unique.

During the photo session, we’ll have a blast capturing your personality and bringing our ideas to fruition. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. We’ll work together to create images that are not only stunning but also authentically you.

The moment you’ve been waiting for! Within 72 hours of your session, I’ll upload your photos to a password-protected gallery. Take your time to choose your favorites – I’ll handle the rest.

Image retouching is kept quite natural. I don’t perform any heavy retouching I still want to make sure that you look like yourself 🙂 Photo retouching includes mild skin smoothing, facial contouring (enhancing highlights and shadows), removal of minor blemishes, spots, eye brightening & sharpening, and the reduction of wrinkles/under-eye circles.

Wear something that reflects your style and makes you feel great! Choose clothes that also complement the location you’ll be photographed. My goal is to capture your unique personality and the best way to do that is when you feel comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing. If you’re still unsure of what to wear, feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to help you choose an outfit that works best for the locations we’ve chosen for the shoot.
Tips:
Best to avoid wearing anything with big logos or graphics as they can be distracting in the photos.

The great British weather 🙂 I know, it can be unpredictable at times! I’ll keep a close eye on the weather nearer your shoot date. But don’t worry, rain doesn’t have to ruin our photo session. In fact, rain can create some of the most beautiful and moody photo opportunities. However, if the day is looking very rainy, windy or very cold I may ask to rearrange your session.

If you’re a morning person, I’d suggest waking up early for a sunrise shoot. The city is much quieter in the early hours of the morning, giving us a chance to capture some stunning shots in a peaceful setting. If early mornings aren’t your thing, no problem! Another great time is in the late afternoon leading up to sunset.

No, I don’t. RAW files are essentially unfinished products that require post-processing to look their best. Part of my service is to carefully select and edit the best images to tell your story in a beautiful photo series. You are trusting me to use my expertise to create the best possible outcome for you. Rest assured, you will receive high-resolution JPEG files.

A photo print release is included with the purchase of any digital images. This allows you non-commercial use of the images, including unlimited prints (at home or with a printer) and sharing with friends/family and on social media.

I love sharing images from my sessions, as it helps me showcase my portfolio and attract more awesome clients like yourself. Of course, I totally respect your privacy and understand if you prefer to keep your images private. Just let me know and I won’t share them anywhere. No hard feelings, promise!
I hold the copyrights to the images, but you have permission to use them as long as it’s not for commercial purposes. And if you do decide to share them, I would really appreciate it if you could tag me @shotsbypaula so that more people can discover my work. Thank you so much!

Please book in advance! To secure your preferred date, I require a deposit of 50% (non-refundable). This will ensure that the date is reserved just for you and your partner. And don’t worry, if the weather decides to play games or something unexpected comes up, we can always reschedule and your deposit will be transferable to a new date.
I accept payments via Bank Transfer, Wise or cash.To get started, simply let me know your preferred date and we’ll go from there.

Yes, I have a cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel, please provide a 48-hour notice. If full payment has already been made, it will be returned minus the deposit amount.
